yep technology has changed. i years ago bought some OE angel eyes for my E46 because i wanted it to look period correct. lots of hassle to retrofit OE coronas. on my M3 still wanting period correct i made some that look like E39 color. so removed a set of LEDs (after a month that i was giving a try) and installed these. always loved the remote
For starters, it’s the right size. The E90 sort of kicked off the 3 Series’ continuous increase in size, with each generation, but it’s still small enough to feel like a compact sport sedan. The main issue is that M52s with eBay turbos make proper power for far less than what a K-swap would cost. The headlights alone on the pre-facelift win me over. One of the main reasons I held out for a good pre-facelift. Pre-facelift coupe is one of my favorite looking cars out there. I may be biased cause I own one but, I personally think any and all E46 is a win.
