It's absolutely possible to do the same using a Quest 2, but if you're wirelessly playing VR games with airlink or something, I would recommend messing with the bitrate and latency (of the airlink/VD app) to get the best performance. If the framerate is too low, it'll look choppy on OBS and might make viewers sick.

Recently got back into ETS2 and I've been playing it with my Quest 2 via Virtual Desktop. Usually on Discord with friends and they always ask me to stream but no matter what I try it does not stream. It either shows a black screen or the steam VR screen, lol. I've tried closing steam VR and then booting up the game, I've tried the oculus cast
you can. But it doesn't work with the app in the headset. You stream your quest to sidequest and stream from your discord on pc sidequest. There are plenty of tutorials how to do it. Search how to wirelessly record with your pc on quest 2 or something like that and do what it says other than actually recording. Than you can just share your screen. When I asked on the VD discord, it turns out that VD resizes your image to 1080p anyways. At the time, it didn't even support portrait orientation, so it would squish a 1080x1920 portrait image into a 1920x1080 stream. Although that was supposedly getting fixed soon. So yeah, I don't think it's possible with VD.
