Make sure to pick up all parts of the aether scope in at least 1 or 2 runs. Make sure to pickup the diary at the ghost step, and later for the wrench part they drop. Same with the golden ball after knocking off the tree that goes into the part where the wrench spawns. And also make sure to grab the picture right after the last portal for boss.
