I have a 2017 mondeo 2.0 tdi powershift, When I really accelerate hard, the car gets to about 80mph and I get a yellow spanner symbol come up on the dash and I lose abit power, its not limp mode as I can still accelerate, just not as normal.
Here are the common issues that can cause your Mondeo to crank but not start. Your car’s engine needs air, fuel, and a spark to run. It is highly likely that if the engine is cranking but not starting that it has thrown an OBDII code. Use an OBDII scanner to check and see if the engine has thrown any trouble codes. Posted August 10, 2015. I'm looking for some help with my 2006 ford focus 1.8 diesel. The car will not start without using easy-start, it tries to start (turning over) but nothing. We have replaced both cam and crank sensors, a new fuel filter (ford genuine part) and bled it using a hand vacuum pump (no air bubbles), new air filter and glow plugs. My car won't start now. Hi today I have changed the fuel filter on my sons 1997 1.8TD Mondeo Ghia X - All seemed to go well until I tried to start it and it refused to start. I have primed the pump on top of the filter and eventually it will start and run for about 5 seconds and then stops - any suggestions please
